Kahwe

The range of coffees and the skill behind the roast at Kahwe from Tampere makes it a roastery whose name is not to be forgotten. Joel Marttala, Kahwe’s roastmaster and managing director, spent 6-7 years as a barista at the Tampereen Kahvipaahtimo’s café. Before that, being a restaurant chef was also a strong passion and potential career choice for him, in addition to coffee. However, 2013 changed his plans with the arrival of his first child and coffee became a more sensible choice for his future. Kahwe Roastery is for anyone interested in coffee. Their approach to everything they do is, in their own words, relaxed, honest, open and down to earth.

Kahwe’s orders are sent fresh to customers twice a week. Orders placed no later than 23:00 on Sunday are posted from the roastery on Tuesday, and orders placed by 23:00 on Wednesday are shipped on Friday.
