Kine Tamaryokucha – Helsinki Coffee Festival 2nd place in the Green Tea of the Year 2025 competition

Gorgeous Japanese green tea from the award-winning Ōyama tea plantation in Sonog, southern Kyushu. Tamaryokucha tea leaves are rolled at a lower pressure and therefore are not straight like sencha. This first harvest tea is grown in a beautiful tea garden, often shrouded in the morning mist of the inland sea. It has an umami flavour and rich minerals, and is also an excellent accompaniment to seafood and vegetables.

Variety: Green tea
Steeping: 60-70°C 1-1,5 min
Measuring: 2-3 g (small teaspoon) per cup.
Pour all the tea down to the last drop. Multiple brewing possible.
