Karigane is made of the stems of a gyokuro tea grown in the shade. Soft and full-bodied tea with a touch of dry hay. Due to the low leaf content, the tea contains relatively little caffeine and bitterness.
Same leaves can be brewed multiple times. Increase brewing time and / or temperature each time.
