Peru Cecanor is an organic and Fair Trade Cafe Femenino coffee from Peru. This dark roast coffee is a premium estate coffee with a medium body. The coffee comes from Peru Cecanor’s operation in Chiclayo, where the Cafe Femenino project was started in 2003. Cafe Femenino and the Cafe Femenino Foundation are sustainable development projects that support women in their respective development projects (including education, health, hygiene, production and coffee quality) and help them towards a more equal life. The women invest the proceeds of their coffee farming in their communities, so ultimately everyone benefits from the efforts of these brave and hard-working women.
