Pirkanmaan paahtimo orders are sent out fresh to customers once a week. Orders made by Monday midday will be sent on Wednesday. The standard delivery time in Finland is 2-4 working days.
The coffee beans are picked and sun-dried and stored for 4 months in airy huts during monsoon winds. The coffee beans become large, yellow and low in acidity. The method mimics the effect of the monsoon winds on coffee shipped to Europe hundreds of years ago. The coffee has a robust and intense flavour with a rich mouthfeel and a short aftertaste. This coffee works both as a filter coffee and as an espresso. Especially when brewed in a press pot and aeropress, the coffee’s soft fullness comes through nicely.
