In 1962, Fazenda Camocim was bought by the entrepreneur Olivar Araújo. He pioneered the production of organic coffee in the Espírito Santo region. Over the course of 30 years, he planted trees in the area, protected the emerging trees and restored the soil to a nutrient-rich condition. Olivar also planted exotic trees, mainly Eucalyptus, Pine, Araucaria and Liquidambar, the last of which was the symbol of Camocim. This organic, dark roasted coffee has a nutty aroma and even a slightly sweet aftertaste.
