Tabi Honey organic
Makea Coffee
Roaster: Kyle Papai
Sweet Coffee’s partner plantation La Pradera in Colombia produces a number of excellent coffees, of which this organic Tabi variety is a prime example. “Tabi” means “good” in the indigenous Guambiano language. In this honey process, the beans are fermented in two stages with a layer of mucilage, a process that creates a velvety mouthfeel to the coffee. We roast the coffee to a pale degree that brings out the balance of the coffee, creating acidity, mouthfeel and a bouquet of aromas. At first, an almond-like softness takes over your tongue. The velvety mouthfeel rocks you towards the fresh, sweet citrus acidity and aftertaste. As always, with Sweet and Slurp, a party on your tongue is guaranteed.
