Mario Solís’ farm, Monte Canet, was started by his father, Jaime Solís, 60 years ago in 1942. Since the beginning of his work, Don Mario has been focused on improving the quality of this small farms coffee. The farm is located in the Tarrazú region, where the
climatic conditions, the altitude and above all the way Don Mario attends his coffee plantation allow him to produce an excellent quality coffee. This excellent coffee is then processed in the La Candelilla Beneficio washing station. The harvest occurs between December to March of each year, during the summer season, which allows that only the mature coffee is harvested. Mario establishes good agricultural practices as a norm at his farm, which allows him to have a totally sustainable farm.
