Bernardo is farming on the 10 hectare land that he has inherited from his parents. His farm Las Orquideas’ has one hectare of coffee production and is surrounded by an extensive forest with a great diversity of flora and fauna. After picking the ripe coffee berries, they float and depulp and ferment the coffee for approximately 18 hours. Then the parchment is washed with clean water and then dried for 15 days. This is the first coffee from Peru that we are roasting and we are thrilled of its unique flavour characteristics. With medium roast, it works both without and with a small amount of milk. Enjoy!
