In Rwanda, coffee farms are usually quite small. On average, the farmers have only about 250-300 coffee trees and they grow other things, too, to ensure their livelihood. Typically, they deliver their crops to washing stations where crops from multiple farms are combined into one bigger lot. Kamajumba is a rare exception to this.

On Kamajumba there are 19460 coffee trees that gives the estate enough volume to process their coffees separate from other farms’ coffees. This also means that the Kamajumba lot can be specified very precisely regarding its altitude, variety and even the soil consistency.

This coffee is a brand new roast in the selection of Turun Kahvipaahtimo. The coffee has a juicy and intensive nature with nuances of red berries.
