Inka Paahtimo
Roaster: Pamela Aranciaga Mauricio
This coffee comes from the Tulise washing station, located at an altitude of 2100 meters in Tulise Kebele in Gedeb Woreda. The Tulise washing station employs 10 full-time workers and 30-40 other workers during the harvest season. The coffee in this area grows in the shade of trees and is picked by hand. At the washing station, the coffee is ground, washed and dried on raised platforms in the sun for about 12-15 days. The beans to be dried are covered during the hottest part of the day to retain moisture, and are also covered at night to protect them from rain.
