Fram’s farm is located in the south-west of Kenya, in the Kiambu region. Coffee cultivation on the farm dates back to 1958. The farm is managed by James Kariuki. The mineral and red clay soils provide a favourable growing environment for coffee berries at an altitude of just under 2000 metres above sea level. The coffee is extremely balanced and medium acidic. The coffee has a deep berry juiciness. The flavour has acidic notes of orange and citrus and a plummy sweetness. This coffee won the first place in the 2020 filter coffee competition!
