Orange・Berry Jam・Creamy
Gisheke
Turun Kahvipaahtimo
Roaster: August Poutiainen
In the last few years coffees of the Bourbon variety from Rwanda and Burundi have surprised us with their incredible quality. Gisheke washing station is located by Lake Kivu, and almost half of the Red Bourbon cherries come from the islands of the lake. The coffee farming and processing in the area has hugely improved recently. Thanks to it, it should now be more expected than a surprise that coffees from the area are of high quality.
This coffee offers sweetness of berry jam as well as an aftertaste consisting of sweet cream and light acidity of an orange.
