Peru Rosenheim decaf
Inka Paahtimo
Roaster: Pamela Aranciaga Mauricio
The Rosenheim coffee farm is located in the Peruvian jungle, in the Villa Rica highlands. The coffee trees are shaded by native and reforested forests, so the farm is contributing effectively with local reforestation, preserving the area‘s flora and fauna. Planting and harvesting are carefully done by hand. Coffee is pulped, fermented, washed and dried in the sun. The whole process is done on the plantation’s grounds. Decaffeination is done without chemical solvents by using carbon dioxide and high pressure for extracting the caffeine. The farm‘s owners are Gisela Neumann and her son.
