This delicious dark roasted coffee is from Brazil, from the hills of the Mantiqueira Mountains. The area is well known for its high quality coffees that have done extremely well in the Cup of Excellence competitions. This area has received the Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) due to its tradition and worldwide reputation for producing high-quality coffees. This soft and sweet coffee was produced by the Cocarive cooperative, who require that their farmers follow a set of sustainability guidelines to preserve the future of the region.
