Sumatra Mandheling FTO is a coffee of three certificates. In fact FTO comes from Fair Trade and Organic beside which the coffee also has the Rainforest Alliance certificate. Coffee doesn’t get more ethical than this. The Grade 1 qualification also ensures an exceptionally high quality.
Sumatra Mandheling is grown organically at an altitude of 750-1500 meters in the mountains of Sumatra. Behind the production is the PT Sumatera Jaya Kopi organisation that grows the coffee while respecting nature and principles heeding social and farming sustainability. The method of farming that protects the rainforests has also brought financial security and stability to the farmers.
The coffee is roasted by Mokkapuu in the Kustavi archipelago of Finland.
