Unlike many other coffees, the name of this coffee does not refer to a name of a place, but that of a tribe. Mandheling is the name of a tribe located in Sumatra, Indonesia. They have cultivated this variety of coffee beans with longstanding traditions. This Mandheling coffee is certified Organic.

In the roast from Helsingin Kahvipaahtimo, this coffee acquires a full and rich aroma where chocolate and a delicate smokiness are prominent.
