HINTS OF RED BERRIES
Intensive and robust. Thick, full-bodied mouthfeel with slight acidity. Hints of red and crimson berries. Long, lingering taste. In the Tolima region, at an altitude of almost 2000m, a crop of coffee can be expected only once a year. The coffee berries become ripe slowly, thus intensifying the avours. This Pijao batch is a combination of the best of two farmers’ prime crops. Contrary to local practice, these beans have been sorted, processed and dried already at the farm.
