The name of Holmen Huru comes from the Swedish word huru, which freely translates to “done in a certain way”. We thought this was the perfect name for this dark filter coffee which was one of our favourites in the Sigri bean adventure! Dark, but not too dark, it still has the soft mouthfeel, tealike fruitiness, round and well-balanced flavours without too much acidity. The Sigri plants produce the most wonderful beans and they are full of history too! They say they were originally smuggled from Jamaica Blue Mountain farms in 1927, so this is kind of bootleg-coffee!
