The Menendez family has been growing coffee in four generations and they have nine coffee plantations in Santa Ana region. This specific coffee variety is Pacamara, which is bigger than average varieties. Coffee comes from 30ha farm called Finca El Rosario and it is Rainforest Alliance certified. The ecological way of thinking is an important aspect for the Menendez family. The family has their own washing station where they prepare all of their coffee for sales. Their coffees also win the Cup of Excellence prizes regularly. This specific coffee has gotten a cupping score as high as 87.
