The volcanic soil and the traditional Gilling Basah processing give this coffee its characteristic rich mouthfeel with low acidity. This coffee is farmed by the Mandailing people in the Sumatra island. The producer is Ketiara Cooperative that is led by women, and that values gender equality and organic farming methods.
