This delicious dark-roasted coffee with hints of dark chocolate, cane sugar and cigar comes from 16 small producers of the Huehuetenango area. There are many tiny farms in the Huehuetenango area, whose coffee is easily overshadowed by the products of larger, more established operators, and it is hard for them to find opportunities to develop their business and find fair sales channels. This coffee has been purchased specifically from these ambitious small producers of great coffee who still need support to get their operations off to a good start.
