Vietnam K’ho Robusta Anaerobic Natural
FUKUSUKE COFFEE
Roaster: Takuya Miura
Coffee from a project by the Cu Ho ethnic minority in Vietnam and a Japanese farmer, Mr. Seitake Yamaoka. Vietnam is the world’s largest producer of Robusta coffee. Most specialty coffees are “Arabica” coffees, which are clean and have little bitterness, but the cooperative is working to change the image of Robusta as a low grade coffee. The Anaerobic Natural process produces a coffee that has a mellow, brandy-like aroma along with the bitterness typical of Robusta.
