This coffee comes from the Coopervass cooperative in southern Minas Gerais, Brazil, and has been sourced directly from the producers. It is a blend that includes several varieties from different farms within the cooperative.The flavour profile highlights the chocolatey and nutty notes typical of Brazilian coffees, along with a touch of dark berry-like brightness, perfectly suited for a full-bodied dark roast. The cooperative has a 63-year history and nowadays they have over 1000 cooperative producers, 85% of whom are family producers. The cooperative is deeply committed to developing social, transparent, and sustainable work. One of their projects includes visits to schools in the region to educate children about the importance of agriculture, with a strong emphasis on environmental stewardship.
