The Cooperativa de Servicios Múltiples Sacaclí was established in 1994 in the Matalgapa and Jinotega mountain ranges, where coffee is grown in harmony with the surrounding nature. At that time, the cooperative had 31 members who grew coffee and a variety of vegetables. Today, the cooperative has 540 members and supports them by sharing information on sustainable farming, technical and financial issues, while guaranteeing its members a fair price for their work.
