Sol y Cafe is an organic coffee growing cooperative that grows a remarkable specialty coffee high in the Peruvian mountains. Each farm is small, averaging only 300 plants, which means that collaboration is essential to be able to enter the specialty coffee market. The cooperative supports farmers by providing them with access to international coffee markets, as well as equipment and resources to improve the quality of their crops and their earning potential. For example, each farmer receives a coffee pulper and has access to shared resources. This coffee has a creamy smooth fullness, a delicate acidity and sweet chocolate and cherry notes.
