Kahiwa has been buying excellent coffees from farmer Gregorio Cubillos for five years now and the farm has developed tremendously over these years. Of the most recent crop, he produced just a small micro-lot of this washed pink bourbon variety for the roastery. This excellent coffee presents a flavour with a tangy berryness and juiciness that is very rare to find in Colombian coffees. Gregorio is dedicated to developing his coffee and the collaboration with the Coffee Training Centre at the nearby university has been very fruitful and the already excellent coffee has become better and better with each harvest.
