Guatemala’s highland region of Huahuatenango (ancestral territory in Aztec) is known as one of the world’s best coffee growing areas. The mountains in the region rise up to 3850 metres, creating large temperature variations during the day and causing the coffee to ripen more slowly, giving it a very intense flavour.
