Ethiopian dark roast coffee from Kirjalan Kahvipaahtimo, produced by small coffee farmers in the Yirgacheffe region. Jukola was the roastery’s first coffee, which they started roasting and selling back in 2018. The Boledu brothers have been producing quality coffees together with smallholder farmers for several years. The coffees are sourced directly from washing stations, which are funded by the Boledu producer community and whose workers are trained by the community beforehand. In this way, the small farmers and the producer community guarantee a high-quality and sustainable coffee partnership. The coffee is roasted quite dark, but this does not hide the coffee’s characteristic flavours, but rather gives it more body.
