Boledu’s founders Abyote Ageze and Mebrahtu Aynalem have 12 years of experience in coffee. Boledu has been producing high quality coffees with smallholder farmers at their own washing stations in the Guji zone, Dimtu Hamblea, Yirgacheffe, Aricha and Gedebi. Before each harvest, the producer community trains farmers on specialty coffee standards. Boledu also pays smallholders above the market price, on the condition that they produce consistent and ripe berry quality. This coffee is produced at the Aricha washing station.
