Main Lane Coffee Roasters
Roaster: Sebastian von Spalding
La Palma, nestled in the highlands of Chalatenango, El Salvador, is renowned for its high-quality Arabica coffee, grown in ideal conditions with rich volcanic soil, cool climate, and shade-grown practices. The “La Palma & El Túnel” collective, part of the BioKrop project initiated by Jorge Cruz, unites small-scale farmers dedicated to sustainable, organic farming and biodiversity preservation. These farmers, committed to their land, use the Semi-Washed processing method, producing coffee with a sweet, complex flavor profile, featuring notes of yellow fruits and honey. The collective not only produces award-winning coffee but also fosters economic development and environmental sustainability in their community.
