Ethiopia Sidamo
Vits Kaffee GmbH & Co.KG
The Sidamo region, located in southern Ethiopia, is famous for its optimal coffee growing conditions. These include the extremely fertile soils and the ideal climatic conditions at cultivation altitudes of 1,600 to 1,900 m. These are characterised by abundant rainfall and optimal temperatures. 98% of Ethiopian coffee (including this Sidamo coffee) is grown by small farmers whose coffee gardens are no larger than one hectare. This means you can nurture and care for each individual coffee tree, which is later noticeable in the cup through an excellent aroma.
