Cocoa has been drunk for over 2 000 years, so it’s no wonder that this classic, deliciously chocolatey drink has many different versions today and is enjoyed both hot and cold.
SLURP team tested our selection of cocoa options and created our own version of sweet hot cocoa for cozy evenings! 🍫🥛
2 cups
- 1 tbsp organic cacao powder
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- A pinch of salt (salt brings out the chocolate flavour!)
- 2 dl whole milk or a plant-based alternative (for example oat milk)
- 1 dl water
- Heat all the ingredients in a pan, but do not bring to the boil. Stir and allow to cool.
- Add whipped cream, grated chocolate, marshmallows or cookie crumbs to taste – whatever you like to make the cocoa your own special treat!
- Enjoy together or alone ❤️
Tip: If you wish, you can spice up the cocoa by replacing the maple syrup with a flavoured syrup, such as mint or white chocolate.
