Slurp with SLURP
As part of Helsinki Coffee Week 2024, we at Slurp decided to open our office doors and organised an afternoon coffee party where guests could taste our coffees, participate in cupping and try their barista skills with our La Marzocca. We thank everyone who attended our little event and shared their time with us. It was great to see and talk to all the people we met in our little workshop!
Cupping
Our cupping table featured coffees from different SLURP coffee experience flavour worlds and services.
SLURP light
Light & fresh
Berry, fruity and citrus notes. The light flavour world contains coffees that are at their best at light roast levels.
All coffees are high quality Arabica coffees and represent lightness and freshness. The flavours range from citrusy to fruity and sweet. When lightly extracted, certain varieties can even have a themed character and an enchanting aroma. The light flavour world is rich in nuances and offers a wide range of flavours: floral, fruity, berry and spicy.

SLURP decaf
This coffee experience is for people who want to enjoy decaffeinated coffees while enjoying the world-class craftsmanship of Finnish micro-roasters. The caffeine is removed from the coffee beans using natural methods.

SLURP premium
SLURP premium offers coffee experiences from German and Japanese small roasters. The cupping table featured a Brazilian light roast from Japanese roaster Manly Coffee and a dark roast blend from German roaster Kawa Kaffeemanufaktur.
SLURP rare
The table also featured a clear crowd favourite, where guests immediately tasted the flavours of passionfruit yoghurt; 19grams El Paraiso Lychee.
