Pirkanmaan Paahtimo’s farm coffees are produced in close and long-term cooperation with farmers, and the farmer is always paid a sustainable price for the raw coffee. The coffee beans are roasted in small batches in Tampere, respecting the freshness and taste of the coffee. The certified organic Ethiopia Kabira coffee beans come from the Mustafa Abakeno farm in Agaro, Jimma region of Ethiopia. The coffee berries, grown at high altitude, are local varieties. In addition to his own farm, Mustafa has acquired four nearby farms, set up his own processing station and built a warehouse for green coffee.
