The story of this estate began when Silvio, along with his mother Maritza, purchased the estate in 2012 and decided to dedicate their lives to coffee. The estate was named after Silvio’s grandmother, Teresa, whom he describes as a strong, hardworking, and somewhat stern woman who taught the entire family the value of hard work. Now, at Santa Teresa estate, the work is divided, with Silvio overseeing the cultivation process, and Maritza ensuring that the workers enjoy her renowned meals.
