Mantiqueira de Minas is known for its beautiful mountains and thermal waters, and offers the perfect combination of soil fertility and altitude for coffee growing. Sitio Cachoeirinha has been in Lambar for several generations of the Oliveira family. Owner Roberto Carlos played in the coffee field as a child before helping his father. Soon after taking over the farm, his wife Creuza joined the business, as she too comes from a coffee-growing family. Today, they are passing on their lessons to their two children so that the farm can remain in the family for generations to come. Roberto and Creuza have worked hard to develop the farm further, even after a hailstorm completely destroyed their experiments a few years ago – with a strong spirit and commitment they restarted their project.
