Yakumama’s mission is to promote organic culture and agriculture through ongoing technical training and projects that promote organic agriculture. One of Yakumama’s five cooperatives is Gallito de las Rocas. It was founded in 2012 by 260 coffee producers in the region. A total of 550 hectares are dedicated to the cultivation of organic coffee. Gallito de las Rocas producers work together as a family. Thanks to this cooperation, they have achieved a stable income in their community.
