Guatemala El Chalun
Kahwe
Roasted: 12/10/2019
Roaster: Joel Marttala
Denin de Leon is a second-generation coffee farmer. De Leon’s father inherited the farm when de Leon was 14 and he has been passionate about motivating the youth to become coffee farmers and continue with their family trade.
The harvest is done three times during the season, so all the berries have been carefully selected. The coffee cherries are pulped during the same day and then fermented for approximately 48 hours. The exact fermentation time varies based on the weather in the area. After this, the coffee is washed with clean water and dried on a patio. This coffee has notes of yellow fruits, soft peach and honey. Try this coffee as a cold brew!
