Peru Café Femenino is an Organic and Fair Trade certified coffee from Peru. The Cecanor producer collective was founded to offer local women a chance at equality and livelihood. Peru Café Femenino is produced completely by women and following this ideology, it is also roasted by a woman.
Roasteries that use this coffee are required to make a donation to improve women’s education and health care in the developing countries.
This coffee is rich and has a wonderful flavor. When roasted, this coffee has an almost cherry-like aroma and a sweet chocolate flavor as well as a low acidity. Café Femenino is soft and soulful.
